Introduced in 2006, the Silver Moon is New Hampshire's first and original crêperie. Our goal is to provide a tasty, affordable and unique dining experience for the Seacoast community of New Hampshire and southern Maine. The crêperie is located in downtown Dover, NH, home to the Children’s Museum of New Hamphire and the eclectic Woodman Institute Museum. We are very casual and very family/kid friendly.
Although we offer grilled ‘Cuban style’ panini sandwiches; our menu’s primary focus is on crêpes (thin pancakes) that are a specialty of the Northwest region of France called Brittany. Our crêpe batter contains a unique blend of organic buckwheat flour, fresh ground for us upstate at the Littleton Grist Mill, and wheat flour from King Arthur Flour in Vermont. Each crêpe is made-to-order and folded with your choice of either sweet or savory ingredients.
A variety of non-alcoholic drinks are available: imported soda, fresh-brewed “strong” coffee, assorted teas, espresso drinks, mineral water and fresh made-to-order juice. And yes, we also offer Coke in the can (if juice is not your thing).
We are open Wednesday through Friday 10AM to 4PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 3PM. We’re closed Monday and Tuesday, but willing to open for special functions and birthday parties. Please call to inquire.
Also, please note that in order to keep our prices reasonable, we do not accept credit/debit cards or personal checks, only cash. Gift certificates available upon request.
Hope to see you soon!
